Spoken word performer Jamie Chapman has recorded protest track 'Taught from a Textbook'
A local youngster has penned a poetical protest track criticising the government’s out-of-touch approach to young people in Britain.

Example brings his UK tour to the Birmingham NIA in May
It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Example after Changed The Way You Kiss Me held the No.1 position in the UK charts, and now Example is to perform at the NIA as part of his first ever headline arena tour.
Changed The Way You Kiss Me beat rock giants Coldplay to the top selling over 500K copies, it is now certified gold and ranked as one of the biggest selling singles of the year. His later single Stay Awake also topped the charts. Read the rest of this entry »

Frank Turner will be playing Wolves Civic in November
Following last Friday’s massive sold out headline show at London Wembley Arena; Frank Turner will embark on a full 18-date UK tour in November and December, with a show at the Wolverhampton Civic.

JLS play their third 2012 tour date at the Birmingham LG Arena this month
Undoubtedly the UK’s biggest pop group, JLS are nothing short of a phenomenon. With their new single Proud rocketing up the charts and raising money and awareness for Sport Relief 2012, they’ve set out on their 4th Dimension UK Tour, playing the Birmingham LG Arena again on Tuesday 17th April following their two sold out dates in March.
