Pop icon, Lady Gaga, is bringing her ARTPOP ball to the UK.
Lady Gaga, one of the top global touring acts of our time – having sold nearly 4 million concert tickets – is adding an extensive European leg to her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour.
She comes to the Birmingham NIA Arena on the 15th of October, and tickets are set to go on sale on the 8th of February.

The wordwide hit Australian Pink Floyd, whose flawless tribute to their original namesake is a must-see spectacle, set off on their international Set The Controls tour this year.
The upcoming tour features fans being offered the chance to include tracks on the show setlist, along with the staple lasers, inflatables and amazing music… and Skippy, the giant kangaroo. I Am Birmingham’s Jack Kirby caught up with the band’s bassist and vocalist Colin Wilson.

New York rockers Interpol will headline the NME tour, which comes to Birmingham in March
The NME Awards Tour 2014 have announced UK dates with four top bands, including a show at the O2 Academy Birmingham . The line-up includes Temples, Royal Blood and Circa Waves who will all perform with headliners Interpol.
New York based Interpol will headline, to start what is already looking to be a busy year for the band, with a fifth new album in the works, so keep an eye out for any new material that may appear during the tour.

Last night saw the opening to a run of Strictly shows at the Birmingham NIA
Last night’s Strictly Come Dancing live show at the NIA saw Corronation Street actress Natalie Gumede, with her partner Artem, take first place after being runner up on the TV Screens, with her amazing jive to ‘Proud Mary’.
The winning couple from the show, Abbey Clancy and Aljaz Skorjanec, didn’t disappoint however, coming second with two perfect scores for their Salsa and Quickstep. But a higher score does not always equal victory, with the audience vote adding an extra edge.

Stephen Kabakos plays the King Of Rock N’ Roll, Elvis Presley at the Alexandra Theatre
